My first time here and I enjoyed it. The chips and salsa were brought automatically and were free (they were okay). I ordered a small taco salad with ground beef and it came with pinto beans which were quite good. Looking over the fairly extensive menu there was probably something for everyone at decent prices. I would have liked more cheese and spice on my salad, but it was good and I ate the whole thing. Service was great even though the place was filling up rapidly at 1130am which is always a great sign!
The best cheese crisp in Casa Grande! Chimichanga was delicious as well. Everyone is great and friendly.
We chose Mi Amigo Ricardo based on a strong recommendation from a long-time(@20 years) customer of this restaurant. While in the area, we took the 8 mile bypass from our selected route to visit this restaurant. We arrived at about 12:15 and noticed right away that the large parking lot was nearly full. Our opinion was that if the lot is full, people must like to eat here. When we walked in, two things caught our attention: 1) the place was busy, and 2) the staff found us a table as soon as it was available--almost a no wait experience at lunchtime! (BTW: we considered ourselves fortunate since we were still a 3 hour drive from our destination.) Our server was impressive as she took our order without a note pad--old style memorization. We had chips, salsa, and drinks within a few minutes of being seated. Our food arrived minutes later, and, be forewarned, the plates were hot to the touch. The food was hot so take your time. The food itself was delicious! Kudos to the chefs and the kitchen staff for a wonderful lunchtime experience!!! If ever we are back in this area, we will definitely be visiting Mi Amigo Ricardo for some excellent Mexican food. Gracias, Amigos!
This is a great locals place, we were here several years ago and back again, it's a family relatives favorite. The prices are incredible for the portion and the staff and guests are friendly. The flavor is very mild, almost too mild, but very good and you can always add sauce or spices.
